So much fun in so little time! Christmas always seems to fly by in a flash because we're trying to fit so much in, this year was no different!
The first of December, I worked the Ice Skating Rink for the first time...not a bad view for a day at work.
Adam brought the girls by to try it out and then we all headed to the Dickens Festival!
The plays at Dickens will always hold a special place in my heart.
First Monday in December is always set aside for our annual Charity Night! Always a good time with friends and food!
Alli and Sadie
Had to snap a picture of Gracie for Calli. So glad she came.
We made our gingerbread houses while listening to the Christmas Devotional!
We went to our annual ward Christmas Breakfast!
They had a table set up for ward members to write messages to our ward missionaries.
Santa and Mrs. Claus...aka Grandpa and Grandma
Adam had to go sit on Santa's lap too!
He did get a toy and candy cane so it was worth it.
For one of our YW activities in December we made posters and videoed special messages to our missionaries and sent them to them. It was fun!
Feliz Navidad Hermama Peterson
All of us!
YW!
Another annual tradition...Forgotten Carols! I cried as I thought about Calli this year!
Best Surprise Ever!!! Package from Spain!!
We had decided that we would open it for Christmas eve so it sat under our tree for a few days. It was so hard not to peek.
Sadie had fun at her Christmas Cheer Party!
Did some holiday baking! Adam made a batch of Pecan Brittle that was gobbled up so fast he made a second batch. So yummy. He is always fiddling around in the kitchen trying new things.
Gentry and I tried our hand at something new too..homemade Eggnog. It was thick, rich and delicious.
We LOVE meteor showers! Anytime we know one is close we wake up in the middle of the night to watch them. This one was great. We saw about 40 in an hour. Adam took this picture with the flash on...Haha!
That's better!
We had our annual Peterson Family Christmas Devotional with skits, poems, songs, nativity and Marilee's cinnamon rolls.
Jingle popped in here and there throughout the month!
One visit he brought a gift to help us remember the reason for the season!
He also "Came in like a wreaking ball"
But soon repented!
We went to the Live Nativity 3 times!!! Once with the Losee Family, once with the YW and once to watch Sadie as a shepherd.
YW Activity at Tuacahn!
Sadie went looking at Christmas Lights with friends!
For our YW Christmas Lesson we took our lesson to the Siddoways. They love the YW and always spoil us. They loved having us over for our lesson. It was great!
Christmas Bunco with this crew!
The weather was gorgeous through most of December so we took full advantage of it and took a bike ride.
Made these seek -n- find bottles for my preschool class.
A new tradition that started this month was going to see "Fairy Tale Christmas"at Tuacahn. It was so cute. Definitely a new tradition!
A few days before Christmas we got snow...kinda, a few flurries for a few minutes, but we'll take it!
With Christmas Eve being on Sunday this year, we went to our annual China Palace dinner on Friday the 22nd. Sadie and Gentry arm wrestled until the food came.
Saturday the 23rd we had our Losee Christmas Party!
Christmas Family Feud!
Christmas Eve Pajamas!
I think Gentry is Happy!! She fell in love with these Palm Leave Pajamas and that's all she wanted. We teased and teased her about them. She wasn't sure if she was going to get them or not. She was so happy when she saw that she did. haha!
Girls and their jammies. So Cute!
That night we slept under the Christmas Tree! Such a fun Season full of family and memories.
