EFY!

July 23-28, 2018

After the Cabin, Kassi came home with us for the night and then next morningI drove them to Cedar for EFY.

Finding their "Home away from Home" for the week!

Their tiny bunkbeds...that they ended up sharing and both sleeping on the bottom together because they were scared of falling off the top. 

Quick picture of them before I left to drive back home. They were excited and nervous but kept saying, "Why does 'church camp' have to be an entire week long" Haha!....Turns out in the end a week was not long enough...they absolutely LOVED it! They loved their company, their roommates, their counselors, their "Cows (Crush Of the Week), their classes, the dances, the activities, the variety show, spending a week together...everything but the food:)

It was so hard for them to say goodbye to their new friends and to each other. They cried and cried. 

So grateful for programs like EFY that give my girls the opportunity to form close friendships, get out of their comfort zone and feel the spirit! It was the best week of their Summer by far!!
