Day 4 –
Tuesday, September 8, 2026 - Magic Kingdom Day
Magic Kingdom
Day. This was the day we were most excited about. Again, we woke up bright and
early and headed to the shuttles for early entry. With the party that night, we had to make
every minute count as we planned to leave at 4:00, to go back to the resort,
eat, get in our costumes and head back over for the party. So anything we
didn’t get on before the party, we’d have to do during. With the lighter crowds
and lightning lanes, we just ran from one ride to the next. Walking down
Mainstreet was so awesome and Liam in his little Mickey ears was so dang cute
and just added to the magic. The castle was huge, the Emporium windows are
decorated so cute and we even found “Peterson Window.” We took time to get our
pictures taken at the pumpkins and in front of the castle, before heading
straight for Fantasyland to hit everything Liam could go on first. We did Small
World, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo and Little Mermaid. Before doing child swap for
Seven Dwarfs.
After
finishing up Fantasyland, we grabbed lunch. I went to Sleepy Hollow and got
their chicken and waffles and a funnel cake. It was THE BEST chicken I have ever had. So so good.
Ate every bite. After lunch we watched the parade and took Liam's 6 month pictures in front of the castle. Then headed to Haunted
Mansion. Liam was sleeping so we child swapped this ride. While we had Liam we walked through Rapunzel village, saw her tower, looked for Pascals, and used the "best bathroom" in Magic Kingdom. After Haunted, Liam was getting hot and cranky so Calli and Levi took him to the baby center to cool off while the rest of us hit up the rest of
our lightning lanes. We did Tiana's Bayou, (so so cute. I loved it more that Splash Mountain. Then Pirates which a bit of a let down, definitely not as good as pirates in Disneyland and then Tron. Of course, we all loved Tron, it was so cool. At this point Calli
called and said Liam, was so restless and they were taking him back to the
resort, hoping they could hit the rides they missed during the party. Adam and I having done most of the things we wanted, joined them, while the other stayed and hit more rides.
Once back to
the resort, we realized Liam was not feeling well. He had a temperature of 102
and just so sad. After lots of communication it was decided we would stay with
Calli and Levi and help with Liam while the rest would go to the party. At the
resort, we mobile ordered dinner and Mickey bars, watched Disney movies and got lots of pictures
from the Halloween crew. They had a blast. They trick or treated, watched the
Fireworks, saw lot’s of characters and rode so many rides, including Buzz
twice, Space Mountain, Tron again, Haunted again, People mover, Thunder
Mountain, Seven Dwarfs again, Tiana’s twice. I was so happy that they were able
to go and have a great time. I was so glad that we had previously done the Oogie Boogie
Party before, and those that hadn’t (Carter and Nick) got to experience this
party. The only thing I was really sad about, was not being able to wear our Holes costumes together, but here's hoping we get another opportunity.
They got back around midnight and brought us a bag full of candy and told us all about their adventures.
