WDW Day 7 - Hollywood Studios

Friday, September 11, 2026 - Hollywood Studios

I started not feeling well through the night and by the time I woke up, I was pretty sure I had caught the Disney bug. Luckily all the kids were heading out in the morning, so we got to rest with Liam. He was doing so much better and we had a lunch reservation at Round-up Rodeo. So even though I felt like crap, we headed over for lunch and met up with the crew. Lunch was so dang cute and so yummy. It’s all based on Toy Story as if we were the toys. First, you can ride a hobby horse to your table and then throughout the meal, we had to freeze when Andy came and had to shiver with fright when Sid came. It was BBQ family style all you could eat and so so good. It was such a fun experience. After lunch I was ready to head back to the resort but had to at least walk around the park a little bit and see it. We left all the kids and our magic bands/lightening lanes and took Liam back to the resort, where we napped, mobile ordered, and Adam and Liam went exploring. The kids did all the lightening lanes and rode: Slinky Dog, Tower of Terror twice, Run away Railway, Smugglers run, Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, Rise of the Resistance, and Toy story mania. Hollywood Studios was Gentry's favorite park. We had fun sending pictures back and forth. It was a blessing that this was the park I missed the most of, because allof the same rides we have at Disneyland, so the only one I really missed here was Slinky Dog and Rock ‘n Roller Coaster. I rested as much as possible, so I would feel up to hitting Magic Kingdom the next day.

Grandma and grandpa shirts

Slinky Dog. It's crazy how popular this ride is.

Tower of Terror

Toy Story Land! So so cute, a lot like Paris

Round-up Rodeo

The plates were so cute, they looked like paper plates but were glass.
So happy to be at the parks again!

Tower, again
Rock'n roller coaster.

Back at the resort, we had a small storm and amazing rainbows.

Once Calli and Levi came back, we took a dip in the pool. It was so warm.

Adorable. After swimming, we tucked ourselves into bed and waited for the rest of the crew to make it back. It's kind of funny to think about, that in some ways, they had a completely different vacation than the rest of us. Haha!
